Meet the Founder

Leeya Rose Jackson is an interdisciplinary artist, designer, and cultural storyteller from Detroit, and based in Minneapolis, MN. With a background in visual art, film, and community-centered design, her work explores the intersection of identity, memory, and environment through bold, emotionally resonant pattern and surface design.

Leeya founded Loud Pigmnt, a design studio and textile brand that brings vibrant, culturally elegant patterns to life across wallpapers, home goods, and custom art. Inspired by her upbringing, diasporic visual language, and a deep love for color as healing, Loud Pigmnt is both a celebration and an offering; reclaiming space, joy, and interior worlds.

Her work has been exhibited in galleries and museums, featured in print, and commissioned by institutions across the country. Through Loud Pigmnt, she is building a new archive: one that fuses nature, maximalism, Black imagination, and contemporary storytelling into surfaces that speak.

Four printed fabric samples with detailed patterns laid out on a wooden table, featuring geometric and floral designs in various colors.
